Prince Rahim Aga Khan arrived in Gilgit-Baltistan amid challenging weather conditions to begin a series of engagements and community visits across Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.
He was received at Gilgit Airport by senior government and administrative officials, including Chief Minister Justice (R) Yar Muhammad, FCNA Commander Major General Syed Imtiaz Hussain, Justice Ali Baig of the Chief Court of Gilgit-Baltistan, alongside representatives of the local community leadership.
Following his arrival, Prince Rahim Aga Khan travelled to Passu in Upper Hunza near the Pakistan-China border, where large numbers of community members had gathered to welcome him.
The visit also highlighted ongoing social and community initiatives in the region, particularly around education, environmental responsibility, and community engagement. According to community sources, recent campaigns encouraging reading, physical activity, and tree plantation recorded millions of pledged participation minutes and thousands of trees planted across different areas.
