- *Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court Ruling*: The court declared the collection of federal taxes on goods imported through the Khunjerab Pass "illegal" and stopped the FBR and Customs from collecting these taxes.
- *1996 Notification*: The FBR had suspended the collection of sales tax on imported goods in GB through this notification, which is still operational.
- *Tax Collection Arrangement*: The federal government has decided to collect taxes on imports from China once these goods enter mainland Pakistan, rather than at the Sost Border post in Gilgit-Baltistan.
- *Post-Dated Cheques*: Importers will provide post-dated cheques to tax authorities, which will be returned if the final judgment favors the traders.

The ongoing dispute between the traders and the FBR has resulted in multiple strikes and protests in the region, with traders demanding the implementation of the tax exemption .

It is hereby notified that littering is strictly prohibited in Oshikhandass, Gilgit Baltistan. This includes throwing or disposing of waste, including plastic, paper, and other materials, in public places, especially at Dass area near Hospital.

*PENALTIES*

Anyone found violating this prohibition will be liable to penalties, including fines and other punitive measures.

*PUBLIC COOPERATION*

We urge the public to cooperate with the administration in maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of Oshikhandass. Let's work together to keep our environment clean and preserve the natural beauty of our region.
