سوشل میڈیا کے رجحانات اور مقامی شاعری کے ذریعے جنسی زیادتی کو معمول بنانا.

When sexual abuse is turned into a joke, a “trend,” a poetic metaphor, or something to be casually shared on social media, we slowly become desensitized to the violence behind it.
In this conversation, Sameer Haider Shah discusses how social media trends and certain forms of local poetry can normalize harmful ideas, especially when abuse is romanticized, mocked, or treated as entertainment. This is not about attacking poetry, culture, or creativity—it is about questioning what we normalize, what we celebrate, and how our words can shape the way society understands abuse. We need conversations that challenge these patterns instead of making them invisible.
