📰 Major Adnan’s Brave Stand Against Militants in Bannu Attack Wins Hearts Online

A powerful video from the deadly Bannu terror attack has surfaced online, showing Pakistan Army’s Major Adnan shielding an injured comrade under heavy fire while engaging a militant from the India-backed Fitna-al-Khwarij group. Social media users have praised the soldiers’ unmatched courage and sacrifice.

The footage, reportedly filmed during the clearance operation at Frontier Constabulary (FC) Lines, shows Major Adnan covering Major Saad, who lay injured on the ground, as fellow troops launched a counterattack from behind a jeep. Both officers sustained critical injuries during the fierce exchange before the militant was neutralized.

The 10-hour-long operation began when attackers rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the FC Lines compound. Security forces killed all five militants, but six soldiers embraced martyrdom and 16 were injured. A later clip of Major Adnan from hospital, asking about his fellow officer despite his own critical wounds, deeply moved the nation, sparking emotional tributes across social media.

Hailing from Shabqadar town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan’s national hero, an SSG commando of the Pakistan Army, Captain Roohullah Mohmand, 27, whose family was busy in the preparations of his wedding embraced martyrdom on 24th October, 2016. He was trying to protect and free the hostages from an attack at a police Training Centre in Quetta (PTC). Sixty one security officials were martyred and more than 150 were injured in the incident.
Captain Roohullah was an elite army commando who will be posthumously awarded Tamgha-e-Jurrat, the fourth highest military award in Pakistan. Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif announced gallantry award for Captain Roohullah Shaheed for his unwavering bravery and valiant action during the anti-terrorists Operations at PTC according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

پنجاب میں دریاؤں میں پانی کا جو ڈیٹا ابھی تک سامنے آرہا ہے وہ انتہائی خطرناک صورتحال کی طرف اشارہ کرتا ہے اس سے پہلے پاکستان کی تاریخ میں 1973 اور 2010 میں اس طرح کا ریلہ آیا تھا۔ سال 2010 ء میں ہیڈ پنجند میں پانی کا انتہائی ڈسچارج 1085000 کیوسک تھا۔ اس وقت راوی اڑھائی لاکھ کیوسک کے قریب، ستلج تین لاکھ کیوسک سے تجاوز کرنے کو ہے جبکہ چناب7.7 لاکھ کیوسک یہ سارا سیلابی ریلہ ہیڈ پنجند کے مقام پر اکھٹا ہوگا تو یہ تقریباً 13 لاکھ کیوسک پانی جنوبی پنجاب سے لیکر سندھ تک جو تباہی مچائے گا، وہ آنے والی نسلیں یاد رکھیں گی۔ پاکستان کا تقریباً 29 فیصد رقبہ سیلابی خطرے میں شامل ہے اس میں بھی مکمل پاکستان شامل نہیں ہے بلکہ صرف سندھ اور پنجاب کے علاقے شامل ہے اس مشکل حالات میں ہمارے لیے یہاں کوئی نہیں آئے گا ہم نے خود ہی ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرنا ہوگا
