An air ambulance en route to New Delhi crashed in India, with seven people on board.

According to media reports, the accident occurred Monday night near Simaria in Chatra district. The air ambulance was transporting a patient from Ranchi to New Delhi for medical treatment.

The Deputy Commissioner of Chatra stated that since the aircraft crashed into a dense forest area, it has not yet been possible to officially confirm casualties. However, officials fear that the chances of survival for those on board are low.

Authorities said the aircraft made contact with air traffic control in Kolkata at 7:34 PM, but communication was lost shortly afterward.

In a creative fusion of healthcare and culinary innovation, a pharmacy in the Netherlands has introduced an unusual approach to medication delivery by turning a common pain reliever into a dessert. Working with a local ice cream maker, the pharmacy set out to solve a familiar problem: many patients — especially children, older adults, and those with certain medical conditions — struggle to swallow pills.
The collaboration produced a specially formulated vanilla ice cream infused with paracetamol, a widely used medication for pain relief and fever reduction. Instead of traditional tablets, the medicated ice cream provides a smoother, more palatable option designed to improve patient comfort and adherence.
Pharmacists involved in the project stressed that dosing is precisely measured and tightly controlled, just as with standard tablets or liquid medicines. The product is prepared under professional oversight to meet both pharmaceutical and food safety standards.
The initiative shows that healthcare innovation doesn’t always require complex technology. Sometimes, meaningful progress comes from reimagining familiar treatments in ways that prioritize patient experience. By transforming routine medication into something more approachable, the Dutch team has demonstrated how simple ideas can make care more accessible and user-friendly.
