According to Saudi media reports, Gulf countries have called on Netflix to remove all content that violates "Islamic and social values and principles" from its platform.
Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council's media watchdogs warned in a statement that content on Netflix, including content for children, was a violation of the regulations.


سعودی میڈیا کی رپورٹ کے مطابق خلیجی ممالک نے نیٹ فلکس سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ وہ ’اسلامی اور معاشرتی اقدار اور اصولوں‘ کی خلاف ورزی کرنے والے تمام مواد کو اپنے پلیٹ فارم سے ہٹا دے۔
سعودی اور خلیج تعاون کونسل کے میڈیا سے متعلق نگراں اداروں نے اپنے ایک بیان میں خبردار کیا ہے کہ نیٹ فلکس پر موجود مواد، بشمول بچوں کے لیے بنایا گیا مواد، ضوابط کی خلاف ورزی ہے۔

The price of edible oil in the global market has seen a record decline in recent weeks. Global edible oil prices, which reached $2,000 a ton in April this year, have now fallen below the $1,000 level.
Despite the record fall in global market prices, consumers in Pakistan are still paying high prices of oil and ghee and they have not benefited from the price reduction in the global market.

عالمی منڈی میں خوردنی تیل کی قیمت میں حالیہ ہفتوں میں ریکارڈ کمی دیکھی گئی ہے۔ اس سال اپریل میں دو ہزار ڈالر فی ٹن تک کی سطح تک پہنچنے والے خوردنی تیل کی عالمی قیمتیں اس وقت ایک ہزار ڈالر کی سطح سے بھی نیچے آ چکی ہیں۔
عالمی منڈی کی قیمتوں میں ریکارڈ کمی کے باوجود پاکستان میں صارفین ابھی تک تیل اور گھی کی زیادہ قیمتیں ادا کر رہے ہیں اور انھیں عالمی مارکیٹ میں قیمت کی کمی کا فائدہ نہیں ہوا۔
