🕊️ A Message of Support for Afghan Refugees Leaving Pakistan
As many Afghan families prepare to leave Pakistan, we may not fully understand the reasons behind this movement—but what we do know is that they are our brothers, and they deserve our empathy, dignity, and support.
🇵🇰 As responsible citizens of Pakistan, we have a moral duty to assist our Afghan brothers and sisters during this difficult transition. Here are some ways we can help:
Safeguard Their Businesses and Assets: If Afghan families leave behind shops, homes, or enterprises, Pakistanis can step up by assigning trustworthy individuals to manage these responsibly.
Ensure Fair Financial Support: Profits from Afghan-owned businesses can be transparently shared with them, or assets can be sold with payments sent to them in Afghanistan.
Create Community Committees: Local groups or neighborhood committees can be formed to oversee these efforts, ensuring fairness and accountability.
Advocate for Policy Support: We can urge our local and national leaders to develop policies that protect Afghan refugees’ rights and properties, and facilitate cross-border financial transfers.
Extend Emotional and Social Solidarity: Beyond economics, let’s offer friendship, respect, and encouragement to those who are starting over in a new land.
🤝 This is not just about charity—it’s about humanity. Let’s show the world that Pakistan stands for compassion, cooperation, and justice.
