ABOUT THE MISSION:-
Set Things Right is the twenty-ninth mission within Marvel is Spider-Man 2 and sees Peter and Miles attempt to clear up the Symbiote infestation at City Hall as an unlikely ally arrives to help save the day.
Head towards the objective marker to arrive at City Hall which has been overrun with Symbiotes and large black tendril-filled masses. As Peter and Miles land on the road outside you will be greeted with a large number of green Symbiotes. These of course dodge most of your attacks so a good starter is to fire out a Web Grabber to pull in and instantly knock out a decent number of enemies.
You'll want to progress up the left side of the building where there will be tiered platforms of debris to help you reach the roof. You'll also find a few purple/pink Symbiotes on the way, including a few stationed on the roof taking shots at you.
Once on the roof a wave of green and yellow Symbiotes will spawn in, so defeat them with the help of Miles. After they are all defeated, approach the doors on the roof.Before you can complete the action though, the doors burst open with a new Symbiote type: a giant white Brute-type monster. Before you can fight it however, the beast grabs Peter and throws him onto the street below where he is swarmed by Symbiotes.
Miles zips down and attempts to free Peter but he too gets swarmed and covered in tendrils. A split second before it all seems over, Martin Li's hand shoots down and grabs Miles before creating a bubble shield around Peter that repels the Symbiotes.
Peter looks worse for wear as the remnants of the Symbiote within him have been triggered, and it needs to be cleansed. Miles decides to join him as they both enter Peter's mind.
As Li takes his giant demon form, swing and glide as you follow him through the dreamscape. During the journey, Li will point out that the Symbiotes fear his power for some reason, and can use it to wipe out the Symbiote within Pete at its root. Eventually arriving at a platform, Li discusses the need to go where Peter's pain is strongest, summoning a portal to head deeper into his psyche.
Use L2 + R2 to Web Tunnel into the portal and you'll appear in a spectral version of the R.A.F.T. prison facility. Swing through the cavernous room ahead and at the far end you'll find a small gap surrounded by tendrils that you can Web Tunnel through once again.
Drop down into the arena below with Li and you'll be ambushed by a spectral version of Otto who will slam Miles through the floor.
As he's falling, a spectral Vulture grabs him and slams him through to the next level down, followed by a spectral Scorpion doing the same, then Electro, then Rhino. Crashing to the lowest level, the prison doors open and various negative spirits will flood the arena for you and Li to fight together.
These enemies will go down with a simple combo, but the sheer number of them can pose a threat so be sure to use Gadgets like your Web Grabber liberally
Eventually the fight will end and the screen will fade to black. As it fades back in, the Symbiote will have consumed the arena. Walk forward towards Li and follow him down the corridor to the right, where every villain Peter has faced is strung up motionless in the Symbiote's clutches.
You'll need to zip to the ceiling to get past Rhino and Kraven, crawl on the ceiling past Lizard and Mysterio, drop down and crawl on the floor past Vulture and Scorpion, and then walk past Li himself to end up between Otto's metal tentacles where you can Web Tunnel through the next portal.
You'll appear in a wide open space, with May's house alone in the distance. Web Wing down to the house and enter through the front door as it opens. Li realizes that May's death is the real source of Peter's pain, which Miles is quick to point out is Li's fault. Continue through the house and walk up the stairs, curving around to the left and approaching Peter's room. A giant tendril will shoot out and pin Miles against the wall, but Li uses his powers to quickly dispel it.
