Two New Zealanders were awarded the country’s highest bravery award Thursday for confronting a white supremacist gunman during a 2019 terror attack on Christchurch mosques that claimed the lives of 51 Muslim worshippers.

Naeem Rashid, who died in the attack, and survivor Abdul Aziz were awarded the New Zealand Cross for great bravery in a situation of extreme danger for their actions during the March 2019 shootings.

Fawad Khan has confirmed his role in the upcoming Ms Marvel series, laying to rest months of speculation around the same.

In a recent interview with Indian publication Film Companion, Fawad addressed questions about whether he was a part of the Marvel show to which he replied, “Yeah, I am.”

He further reiterated, “I can’t deny that or lie about it because they have put out the news themselves.”

Following the startup financing boom, Pakistan’s rapid delivery startup, Krave Mart has raised $6 million, the country’s largest early-stage funding, Bloomberg reported.

The startup’s competitors include Airlift, Pakistan’s most-funded startup that raised $85 million in August ahead of its international expansion, and Berlin-based Delivery Hero SE’s food panda. Shroff, who is also co-founder, believes neighborhood grocery stores are the real competition.

The company, which launched in Karachi, plans to expand its business to 10 more cities in the country by the end of the first quarter of next year. It also eyes to enter Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh. In addition, it intends to start offering fashion and electronics among other categories, the report said.

People in North Korea have been banned from laughing for 11 days. The ban marks the 10th anniversary of the death of former North Korean leader Kim Jong Il.

The 11-day mourning period includes a ban on alcohol as well as laughter. Former North Korean leader Kim Jong Il died of a heart attack in 2011 at the age of 69. His 17-year rule is considered the darkest period in North Korea's history.

A resident of the North Korean border town of Sinoejo told Radio Free Asia that under the son of the late former leader, the North Korean people have been subjected to 11 days of government laughter, drinking, and daily grocery shopping. Or to participate in any kind of recreational activities.

According to the area police, a Chinese national was reported to be walking on Kitty Pahari, who has now been taken to his hotel.
