Islamabad/Riyadh: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have officially signed a Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement. Under this pact, an attack on one country will be considered an attack on the other.

According to sources, the agreement marks a milestone in the defense relations between the two nations and is expected to further strengthen regional security cooperation. Defense analysts believe this development ushers Pakistan–Saudi Arabia’s strategic partnership into a new era.

In 2016, after two Kashmiri youth were martyred in custodial killings by Indian forces, the streets of Kashmir echoed with resistance. Brave Kashmiri youth lifted a black cloth marked with the words: Free Kashmir, Free Palestine, Free Syria.

Because for them, justice knows no borders. The pain of Palestine is their pain, the cries of Syria are their cries — and the dream of Kashmir’s freedom is inseparable from the struggles of oppressed nations everywhere.
