On November 23rd, the English Alumni Society of the Department of English organized its third Live Streaming Session with Successful Alumni, which was broadcast live on the English UGS YouTube channel and the English Alumni Society page.

The session showcased three distinguished alumni as guest speakers:

• Ms. Lubna Hussain, a CSS (IRS) officer
• Ms. Tayyaba Zulfiqar, an English Works! instructor (2016) and MOOC-certified facilitator
• Ms. Rabeea Jamil, a self-publisher of ECE books on Amazon and a textbook author at an EdTech company

The event was a resounding success, attracting over 1,000 views across both platforms. Current students and alumni tuned in to gain inspiration from the speakers' personal and professional experiences. Skillfully moderated by host Syed Abbas Karim, the session featured insightful questions and interactive audience engagement. Participants praised the speakers for their profound expertise, articulate responses, and inspiring stories, making the event both enriching and memorable.

The session featured esteemed guest speakers: Mr. Saqib Munir, a CSS (PSP) officer; Ms. Hina Hassan, Deputy Director at the Quality Enhancement Cell of Superior University; and Ms. Amna Ahmad, a senior Content Writer and Team Leader.
The event achieved great success, garnering over 750 views across both platforms. The audience, comprising current students and alumni, was captivated by the speakers' insightful responses to questions posed by host Syed Abbas Karim, along with additional audience questions. Attendees commended the speakers for their expertise, eloquence, and engaging presentations.

The first-ever Live-Streamed English Alumni Networking Session, hosted by the English Alumni Society in collaboration with the Departmental Facilitation and Support Club (DFSC), which took place on October 19th. It was live-streamed on the English UGS YouTube channel and the English Alumni Society page. The session featured distinguished alumni speakers: Ms. Abeera Goreja, Senior HCM Expert at Telenor Group of Shared Services, Mr. Abdullah Raja, a CSS officer in the Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS), and Ms. Hania Chaudhry, a Freelance Voiceover Artist on Digital Media.

The live stream garnered an impressive audience with around 200 views on YouTube and 345 views on Facebook, later reaching a total of 594 plays. This milestone marks a major achievement in alumni engagement and was a resounding success for the department. A special thanks goes to Dr. Muntazar Mehdi, Head of the Department, for his invaluable support, and to Ms. Syeda Farihatulaen Rizvi, General Coordinator, for her understanding, cooperation, and unwavering support throughout the event.

A sincere thank you to Ms. Iram Shehzadi, Secretary of the English Alumni Society (EAS) and Focal Person of the Departmental Facilitation and Support Club (DFSC) for arranging the speakers, guiding at every step, motivating everyone to participate to the fullest, and for handling the recording.
