Chicken Shami Kebab Recipe
Ingredients
Boneless chicken 1.5 kg

Chana dal 2 cups (soaked for 2 hours)

Garlic

Ginger

Turmeric powder

Whole garam masala
Or ground garam masala

Dry coriander

Cumin seeds

Red chili flakes or whole red chilles

Salt

Water 5 cups

Method
In a pot, add boneless chicken, soaked chana dal, garlic, ginger, turmeric, whole garam masala or ground garam masala, dry coriander, cumin seeds, red chilies, salt, and water.

All spices according to taste.

Cook on medium heat until the chicken and dal become soft and tender.

Let the water dry completely.

Once cooked, allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Grind the chicken and chana dal mixture well in a grinder,food processor or by hand.

Shape the mixture into kebabs.

Shallow fry until golden brown from both sides.

Serve hot with chutney or salad.
