In a meeting chaired by
Prime Minister Muhammad
Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime
Minister's Office on Friday, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, the
Prime Minister's National Coordinator
on Tourism, presented a
comprehensive roadmap
aimed at transforming Pak-
istan's tourism industry into a
key driver of economic
growth.

He also highlighted Pak-
istan' strong potential in re-
ligious and medical tourism,
stating that targeted policy
interventions and strategic
marketing could help posi-
tion Pakistan as a regional
hub for spiritual and wellness
travel,

During the detailed brief-
ing, Sardar Yasir Byas under-
scored the immense un-
tapped potential of Pakistan's
tourism sector, citing the
country's diverse climate, an-
cient civilizations, snow-
capped mountains, deserts,
forests, rivers, and an exten-
sive coastal belt as invaluable
national assets.

Responding to the brief-
ing Prime Minister lauded
Sardar Yasir Ilyas's vision and
called it "timely and practi-
cal." The PM directed the im-
mediate formulation of im-
plementable, fast-track
tourism projects that could
yield early results, particu-
iarly in regions sach as Gilgit-
Baltistan, Azad Jammu &
Kashmir, and Islamabad,
where tourism growth is al-
ready gaining momentum.

اسلام آباد
چیئرمین سی ڈی اے اور چیف کمشنر اسلام آباد محمد علی رندھاوا کی زیر صدارت ایک اعلیٰ سطحی اجلاس سی ڈی اے ہیڈکوارٹرز میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں ممبر ایڈمن و اسٹیٹ طلعت محمود، ممبر پلاننگ خالد حفیظ ، ممبر فنانس طاہر نعیم، انسپکٹر جنرل پولیس اسلام آباد سید علی ناصر رضوی، ڈپٹی کمشنر اسلام آباد عرفان نواز میمن اور دیگر سنئیر افسران نے شرکت کی۔

اجلاس میں وفاقی وزیر داخلہ محسن نقوی کی ہدایت اور چیرمین سی ڈی اے اور چیف کمشنر اسلام آباد کی قیادت میں معرکہ حق اور یوم آزادی کو شایانِ شان طریقے سے منانے کیلئے وفاقی دارالحکومت اسلام آباد میں سی ڈی اے، اسلام آباد انتظامیہ اور ایم سی آئی اور دیگر اداروں کی جانب سے کئے گیے انتظامات کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔

اجلاس میں یوم معرکہ حق اور یوم آزادی کی تقریبات کے سلسلے میں اسلام آباد میں عمارات پر قومی پرچم لہرانے، چراغاں کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ شہر کی تمام اہم شاہراؤں بشمول شاہراہ دستور، کلب روڈ، سری نگر ہائی وے جناح ایونیو اور دیگر شاہراؤں پر خوبصورت لائٹنگ کے انتظام، ڈیجیٹل اسٹریمرز اور ایل ای ڈیز لگانے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا تاکہ وفاقی دارالحکومت کو معرکہ حق اور یوم آزادی کے موقع پر مزید خوبصورت انداز میں سجایا جاسکے۔

چیئرمین سی ڈی اے اور چیف کمشنر اسلام آباد محمد علی رندھاوا نے کہا کہ معرکہ حق اور یوم آزادی کی تقریبات کو قومی جوش و جذبے سے منانے کیلئے اسلام آباد کے مختلف مقامات پر پرچم کشائی، مختلف شاہراہوں کی رنگ برنگے برقی قمقموں سے سجاوٹ، ثقافتی تقاریب، آتش بازی، ملی نغموں کے مقابلے اور عوامی پروگرامز کا انعقاد کیا جائےگا۔ اسی طرح سکولوں کے طلباء کے درمیان تقریری مقابلے، پینٹنگ، ملی نغموں کے مقابلے اور ٹیبلو شوز کا بھی انعقاد کیا جائے گا۔ اس کے علاوہ اسلام آباد کے تمام پارکس اور گرانڈز کو خوبصورت روشنیوں سے سجایا جائے۔ اس کے علاوہ شہر میں چلنے والی الیکٹریکل اور دیگر بسوں پر معرکہ حق اور یوم آزادی کے حوالے سے برینڈنگ بھی کی جائے۔

چیئرمین سی ڈی اے نے کہا کہ معرکہ حق اور یوم آزادی کو شایان شان طریقے سے منانے کیلئے خصوصی طور پر، سیکیورٹی، ٹریفک مینجمنٹ اور خوبصورتی میں مزید اضافہ کرنے کیلئے خصوصی اقدامات کئے جارہے ہیں تاکہ شہری ملی جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ معرکہ حق اور یوم آزادی کی خوشیاں مناسکیں۔

چیئرمین سی ڈی اے اور چیف کمشنر اسلام آباد کی ہدایت پر معرکہ حق اور یوم آزادی کی تقریبات کے موقع پر اسلام آباد پولیس کی جانب سے شہر بھر میں سیکیورٹی کے فول پروف انتظامات کو یقینی بنانے کی ہیدایت کی تاکہ تمام تقریبات پرامن طریقے سے منعقد کی جاسکیں۔ اسی طرح داخلی و خارجی راستوں پر چیکنگ، اہم مقامات پر سی سی ٹی وی نگرانی اور خصوصی سیکیورٹی ٹیموں کی تعیناتی بھی عمل میں لائی جائے گی۔

چئیر مین سی ڈی اے اور چیف کمشنر اسلام آباد محمد علی رندھا وا نے کہا کہ معرکہ حق کو شایان شان طریقے سے منانے کا مقصد جہاں ہماری بہادر افواج کو خراج تحسین پیش کرنا ہے وہاں معرکہ حق ہمارے لئے ایک عہد نو کی حیثیت رکھتا ہے۔اس کے علاوہ معرکہ حق اس بات کا عملی ثبوت ہے کہ پاکستانی قوم مشکل کی ہر گھڑی میں متحد اور یکجان ہونے کے علاوہ دشمن کے تمام ناپاک ارادوں کو خاک میں ملانے کیلئے اپنی بہادر مسلح افواج کے ساتھ ہمیشہ شانہ بشانہ کھڑی ہے۔

Resolution of Public Issues of citizens of Urban and Rural Areas of Islamabad, top priority of CDA. Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Chairman CDA

Islamabad: (Hubdar News): A delegation of Islamabad’s honourable parliamentarians, including Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz and Member of the National Assembly Anjum Aqeel Khan, met with Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa at the CDA headquarters.

During the meeting, issues of citizens of Islamabad related to Islamabad’s urban and rural areas and their resolution were discussed.

CDA board members and other senior officials from relevant wings of CDA were also present.

Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa welcomed the honorable parliamentarians and emphasized the importance of effective coordination in resolving the problems faced by Islamabad’s residents of rural and urban areas. He said that the role of Islamabad’s parliamentarians is important in the ongoing development projects and the progress of both urban and rural areas.

The honorable parliamentarians appreciated CDA’s various initiatives under the leadership of Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Chairman CDA for the development, beautification and welfare of Islamabad’s citizens and assured their full cooperation. They also presented their suggestions for addressing the issues faced by the urban and rural citizen of Islamabad.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that all possible efforts would be made to ensure the provision of funds for completing ongoing projects as per law. He also directed the relevant CDA officers to expedite work on development projects after completion of all codal formalities.

The meeting also discussed the beautification and horticulture work on Islamabad Expressway’s green belts as well as the provision of sports facilities under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In line with the direction of Chairman CDA the DG Environment was appointed as the focal person for optimizing the use of existing and new parks, green belts and open spaces.

The meeting further deliberated on the construction and beautification of various highways in Islamabad, the installation of permanent and decorative lights in various areas, the upgrading of existing parks and the allocation of land for new parks. Additionally, discussions were held on the upgrading of various highways and the construction of new highways and underpasses.

Chairman CDA apprised the delegation on the recent establishment of the Islamabad Water Authority to resolve water and sewage-related issues. Similarly, a decision was made to allocate land for new graveyards in Islamabad, with suitable land to be identified for this purpose.

The honorable parliamentarians also emphasized the effectiveness of electric buses in Islamabad and called for expanding their routes. Chairman CDA assured that existing routes would be reviewed, and new routes would be introduced based on citizens' travel needs.

The meeting also included a briefing on the crackdown against illegal constructions and encroachments in Islamabad. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that CDA Enforcement and ICT are conducting indiscriminate operations against encroachments to make Islamabad more beautiful and environmentally friendly by planting trees.

The meeting also praised the implementation of a cashless system in CDA. Chairman CDA said that gradual steps are being taken to ensure a paperless and cashless system in CDA, with comprehensive measures being adopted in this regard.

It was decided in the meeting to establish a follow-up mechanism to regularly review progress in resolving the issues faced by the residents of Islamabad’s urban and rural areas, ensuring timely solutions to all relevant problems.
