Pakistan to Launch Advanced Satellite from China on July 31
Pakistan is preparing for a major step forward in space technology with the launch of a new advanced remote sensing satellite on July 31, 2025. The launch will take place from China’s Xichang Satellite Launch Center in partnership with the China National Space Administration.
This satellite will play a vital role in helping Pakistan manage important challenges. It will support precision farming, allowing farmers to monitor crops more effectively and increase production. It will also assist in urban planning, environmental protection, and disaster management. Experts say it will be especially helpful in providing early warnings for floods, earthquakes, landslides, and glacier melt, issues that Pakistan faces regularly due to climate change.
The launch is part of Pakistan’s long term space strategy under its Vision 2047 program. It follows earlier achievements including the PRSS 1 satellite in 2018 and the EO 1 satellite launched earlier this year.
Officials believe this mission will not only strengthen Pakistan’s technological capabilities but also deepen cooperation with China. It marks a proud moment for the nation as it continues to expand its presence in space for the benefit of its people.
