Armed groups from Darel, reportedly equipped with Kalashnikov rifles, are moving towards Singoul Nala after issuing serious threats.

The dispute concerns grazing pastures between Singoul (Ghizer) and Darel (Diamer).
It resurfaces almost every grazing season.
Past conflicts in Ghizer and Diamer–Kohistan have resulted in deaths, injuries, and kidnappings.
Attempts at peace through jirgas have been temporary; no permanent legal settlement exists.

The Singoul–Darel dispute is at a flashpoint. Without urgent dialogue, security intervention, and legal demarcation, the probability of serious violence and bloodshed is extremely high. A permanent settlement of grazing and land rights is the only way forward.
