رپورٹس کے مطابق ان میں 60 بچے بھی شامل تھے۔ اہلِ خانہ اور شہریوں نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی اور بعد ازاں میتوں کو تدفین کے لیے لے جایا گیا۔

Surgeons at Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi have successfully reattached the completely severed hand of a five-year-old boy from Jhelum.

The child suffered the injury when his hand was cut off by an agricultural fodder cutter (toka). He was rushed to the hospital's emergency ward, where a specialized team from the Plastic Surgery Department, led by Dr. Tayyab and Dr. Ambreen, immediately took him into surgery.

During the operation, surgeons used microsurgery to reconnect the child's tiny blood vessels, veins, and nerves, successfully restoring blood circulation to the severed hand. Doctors explained that replantation on young children is technically demanding because the blood vessels are extremely small.

They also advised that in cases of sudden amputations, the detached body part should be sealed inside a clean plastic bag and kept on ice—never placed directly in water or ice—and rushed immediately to a hospital equipped for microsurgery.
