بہت عرصے سے ہم ایک ہی طرز کی مصروف اور تھکا
دینے والی زندگی گزار رہے تھے۔ دل چاہتا تھا کہ اس روزمرہ کی قید سے نکل کر کچھ نیا اور یادگار کیا جائے۔ کافی سوچ بچار کے بعد یہ فیصلہ کیا کہ گاڑی اور موٹر سائیکل پر تو ہمیشہ سفر کیا ہے، اس بار کچھ مختلف ہو۔ اس بار گھوڑوں پر سفر ہوگا، اور پہاڑوں کے حسن کو قریب سے دیکھنے کا موقع ملے گا۔

اس مقصد کے لیے ہم نے پہاڑی گھوڑیاں اور ایک دیسی گھوڑے کا انتظام کیا۔ ساتھ ہی چند کتے بھی ہمارے ہمسفر ہوں گے، جو نہ صرف ہماری سیکیورٹی سنبھالیں گے بلکہ اس طویل سفر میں ہمیں بوریت کا احساس بھی نہیں ہونے دیں گے۔

پچھلے دو ماہ سےموسمی حالات کچھ ایسے بن گئے تھے کہ ہم محصور ہو کر رہ گئے تھے۔ مگر اب ہمارا سفر شروع ہونے والا ہے، اور یہ سفر ہمیں سردیوں کے دامن کی طرف لیے جا رہا ہے، جہاں پہاڑوں کی برفیلی ہوائیں
اور حسین مناظر ہمارا استقبال کریں گے۔
