Renowned scholar, writer, and educationist Dr. Arfa Sayeda Zehra passed away in Lahore, leaving behind a profound legacy of knowledge and inspiration.

She completed her B.A. (Honors) from Lahore College for Women University, earned her Master’s degree from Government College University Lahore, and later obtained her Ph.D. in History from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Dr. Zehra served as the Principal of LCWU and later as the Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women.

A highly respected academic and prominent media personality, she also hosted PTV’s well-known program “Barah Darwazay of Lahore.”

Her remarkable contributions to education, history, and women’s empowerment will continue to inspire generations to come.
