Here’s how you can achieve a stunning floral pottery look like this one using simple decoupage and hand-painting techniques.

Clean your vase thoroughly and let it dry completely.
Apply a thin layer of primer or gesso to create a smooth, paint-ready surface.
Lightly sand if needed for better grip and finish.
Step 2: Choose Your Design
Select a floral tissue, napkin, or rice paper with delicate watercolor-style flowers. Cut around the design carefully for a neat edge soft curves work best for blending.
Step 3: Decoupage Application
Apply a thin layer of decoupage glue on the vase.
Gently place your cut-out design and smooth it using a soft brush or plastic wrap to remove air bubbles.
Seal with another layer of glue once it’s dry.
Step 4: Hand-Painted Blending
Use acrylic paints to softly blend the edges of the design into the vase background. Add extra leaves, buds, or subtle shading to enhance the depth and natural flow.
Step 5: Gold Touch & Finishing
Add delicate touches of gold leaf or metallic paint around the design for a luxurious feel.
Once completely dry, seal the entire vase with a matte or satin varnish to protect your work and give it a professional finish.
