MoU Signed Between Mehran University Pakistan and Edibon International, Spain

We are proud to announce that Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EDIBON International, a globally renowned Spanish company specializing in advanced technical teaching equipment.

This strategic collaboration will pave the way for:

> Strengthening academic-industry linkages and transfer of technology
> Enhancing engineering education with state-of-the-art lab technologies
> Promoting joint research, innovation, and student/faculty development programs

We were honored by the presence and support of H.E. Mr. Zahoor Ahmed, Ambassador of Pakistan to Spain and Andorra, and Mr. Muhammad Ali Asghar, whose efforts were instrumental in making this partnership possible.

Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro has once again brought pride to Pakistan by securing 3rd Position in the Huawei ICT Global Final 2024–2025 held in Shenzhen, China!

Out of 210,000+ participants worldwide, MUET’s Muhammad Tahseen stood out among 179 teams from 48 countries!

Pride of MUET – Shaping the Future of Mining! 🌟
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Department of Mining Engineering, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) for their exceptional representation at the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum 2025 (PMIF25) — a landmark international event hosted at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad.

With over 300 global delegates from 50+ countries, PMIF25 served as a powerful platform to showcase Pakistan’s mineral wealth, strategic investment opportunities, and future roadmap under the Mineral Harmonization Framework 2025. Under the leadership of OGDCL, and with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), this event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and academia to forge impactful collaborations.

We are thrilled to share a moment of great pride for MUET! Three exceptional student groups represented our university at the prestigious IEEE YESIST 12 (Youth Endeavors for Social Innovation using Sustainable Technology), held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi.
