Idk why we always end up living in our memories. We don't realize we're living some of the best moments of our lives until they're already gone, and then we wish we had appreciated them more.

Maybe we should stop worrying so much about the past and learn to live in the moment to appreciate it, enjoy it, and be grateful while it's still happening.

I just wish we could learn to do that.

Maybe it's time to go home.
Maybe it's time to realize we've been on the wrong train all along, following the wrong people, making the wrong decisions, holding on to the wrong habits, or continuing in sins without realizing where they're leading us.
We need to wake up before it's too late. Because one day, there won't be another chance to change, and we may not even have the opportunity to think about what we should have done differently.

Maybe we can stop worrying so much about the things that don't really matter.
Maybe we can choose kindness whenever it's needed.
Maybe we can become better human beings, because once life ends, we don't get another chance to improve.
If someone needs your help, help them while you still can. Once the moment is gone, it never comes back.
Life is too short to keep saying, "I'll do it later." Sometimes, later never comes.

A few days ago, while driving to the office, I saw the body of a dead dog lying on a busy road. I was in a rush, and I kept telling myself that someone else would stop and move him. That was where I was wrong.
I should have turned back. I should have given him a final goodbye, or at least moved him to the side of the road. Instead, I kept hoping someone else had already done it.
The next day, I took the same route, and he was still there.
This is a busy road. At least 20k people passed through it every day, yet no one stopped to move him. I had to wait until my office break to go back and carry him off the road.
It wasn't an act of heroism. It was simply my duty as a human being. No living creature deserves to be left like that. We are all creations of Allah, not objects to be discarded.
I keep thinking that nearly 30,000 people must have seen him lying there. Why did it have to be me? Am I a hero? No. I just did what any human should have done.

But my advice is to always be kind to everyone, even when you are going through too much. It is the perfect thing to do, and it brings a sense of relief.
