History
The region Poonch remained independent, some time under the Rule of the state Kashmir and some time semi-dependent and sometimes remained the properly. It is so beautiful the symbols that are spread as the state Kashmir developing stages which are described under different histories. However; as Syed Memood Azad (The author of “The History of Poonch) in incent history (That is known as
Rajj Trungani).There is no separate description about this land. The state of Poonch has Four Tehsils.

And the region of Pragnna Thakiyala Parawa was besides it that is in the surrounding of Mandder, was also a part of Poonch was the capital state Poonch. To the east it start Tata Kouti (15524 feet height) and through Noori Chamb,Behram Galla,Suran kot ,Mandi Nar to south, at the point of Poonch, towards North high mountains, running waters the stream Betar it makes an angle. On this angle the city of Poonch is situated .It seems innumerable sunrise and sunset. There was also the headquarter of Tehsil Haveli.There was the Muslim sultan and Rajas also had been ruling .One of them was Raja Rustam Khan. During his regime the name of haveli was Rustam Nagar. In those days a graceful fort was also been constructed with bricks in the centre of the Pooch city. The reason of Haveli’s name can be heard as here since a long time ago a Muslim minister Mian Nazam ud Din has been living. The famous name at “The villa of Mian Nizam ud Din near it a mosque has also been built with the famous name. Due to the great name of this haveli the name of Tehsil Haveli was also come into being. After the departure /death of Mian Nizam ud Din the Dogra Rajas established V.G State High School in this building. If we try to observe the particles around it seems that the Budh Civiliztion has also let their remaining while going through from the land. The flages of Ashok Azam had also been here. From here the drawers also passed .Here the land also has been crushed with battles abd perhaps Coro and Paundon too remained in this land to rejoice themselves. The Munhall emperors too laid their lands to the land. Haveli the Center of intellectuals and educate. It was the center of intellect and education too. There remained a great number of people who were being admired by it. This land produced the great authors like Charagh Hassan Hasrat; there were four brothers.

District Haveli (Kahutta)
District Haveli (Kahuta) newly formed district remained subdivision of district Bagh before July 15th 2009. It is situated at distance of 162 kilometers from Muzaffarabad, capital of AJ&K and at distance of 250 Kilometers from Rawalpindi. Its total area is 598 Sq Kilometers. According to census of 1998, its total population is 0.112 million. Annual growth rate is 2.00%. Administratively this district has two subdivisions, Haveli and Khurshid Abad. District Haveli enjoys sixty percent literacy rate. Rich fertile land of Haveli is famous for brave and diligent tribes. Overall culture is farming anyhow most of the people are related with teaching profession while a reasonable percentage serving the country adopting the professions of army, police, judiciary, civil bureaucracy and politician as well. Large numbers of people are in foreign who are earning there and increasing the revenue of their own country. Region has sound historical background as it served as a safe route between Poonch and Seri nagger during Mughal regime. This region is well-known for inhabitants who are bold, hard worker and very patriotic. Geographically district Haveli is covered with high mountains and Nalla Bettar flows in the center. It has many picnic points like Bedori Peak (17000 feet high from sea level). Hajji Peer Pass, Hillan valley and Ali Abad are presenting a most eye catcher view for tourists. People from all parts of the country come here in summer and spring seasons. The region is popular for all weather fruits, crops, dry fruits and pure Honey. Forward Kahuta is the districts headquarter where as Plangi, Jabbi Syedan, South and East Hallan, Bedi and kala Mula are the prominent places. Village Jabbi Syedan is famous due the high literacy rate in all over the Pakistan. Village Jabi Syedan has 100% literacy rate. Role in Independence
Haveli is the land of brave and freedom fighters.Heveli’s people give a lot off sacrifices for the independence of Kashmir.Heveli is situated near line of control. Owing to this reason, the people of this area have been badly affected with Indians army’s shelling. A lot of people Shaheed due to Indian firing. 1965 some part of District Haveli Haji Pir pass was captured by the Indian Army in August 1965 in response to an ill and haphazardly planned Operation Gibraltar by Pakistan Army. However, the area was returned to Pakistan by India following the signing of the Tashkent Agreement on 10 January 1966.A 25 km blacktopped road from here leads to Bhedi. Food
Wheat is the staple food grain of the people. Their favorite’s food contains wheat. Maize, rice, meat, vegetables, etc. The manner of cooking is the same as throughout Pakistan. Near towns, vegetables are found in abundance. Subsidiary food is chicken, egg and fish. During festivals, people cook pulao, Chicken, Roast etc. Lussi is much liked by the villagers. Drinking water is also available from springs and water supply schemes. The Judiciary at district level is headed by the District and Session Judge. Be- District and Session Judge and Additional Session Judge, two Sub-Judges at tehsil level, a family Judge at district level deals with criminal, civil and family court cases. A District Qazi, two Tehsil Qazis at tehsil level and Forest Magistrate. Tehsil headquarter are also working on criminal court cases, etc. Third system is based on Civil Procedure Code and Criminal Procedure Code. Agriculture
Mostly areas of Haveli are hilly. Mostly cultivation is on small ridges of mountains. In Haveli agriculture mainly depends on rain water, which is quit frequent, but traditional water channels are also available for cultivation. The main crop in Haveli is maize but which full fill the 40 % food need of local community. But wheat is also cultivated in some areas. The major vegetables are, fresh been, pumpkin, Chili, garlic, lady finger and potato. For cattle’s fresh grass is used as a fodder. Agriculture department also introducing the new verities of fodder e.g. sadabahar. The major fruits are apricot, walnut, peach, pear & plumps but apples are also produce in small scale. The areas of the Haveli are district is mountainous, however some valleys are cultivable. Agriculture in Haveli district depends on rain, which is quite frequent. The pattern of agriculture varies with the condition of soil. Climate rainfall and availability of irrigation water. Where water is assured. Maze has the priority but where the water supply is comparatively limited. Veat is grown. There are tremendous possibilities of fruit and beget able cultivation in the district. The high pressure of population on land has led to very small size of holdings. The areas comprising slopes where grass is available are generally utilized for grassing of cattle. Climate
The climate of the district is generally not so hot in summer and but very cold in winter. Heavy snow fall his taken place almost all parts of haveli. Due to heavy snow falling Union Conical Bhedi is completely cut of from other parts of District haveli (Kahuta).
