خاتون اپنے شوہر کیساتھ ہسپتال گئی ۔۔
ڈاکٹر نے خاتون کو اپنے کمرے میں آنے کا کہا ۔۔۔ خاتون ڈاکٹر کے کمرے میں اکیلی گئ اور جا کر ڈاکٹر سے بولی ۔
ڈاکٹر صاحب ۔۔۔ کیا میں اپنے شوہر کو بھی اندر بلا سکتی ہوں ؟
ڈاکٹر : پریشانی کی کوئی بات نہیں ۔۔۔۔۔
گھبرائیے مت ۔۔
میں ایک شادی شدہ انسان ہوں ۔۔۔
بال بچوں والا ہوں ۔۔۔
عورتوں کا احترام کرنا جانتا ہوں ۔۔۔
آپ مجھے اپنا بھائی سمجھ سکتی ہیں ۔۔
میری نظر میں آپ بڑی بہن ہیں ۔۔۔
مکمل اطمئنان رکھیے ۔۔۔
پیشے کے ہاتھوں مجبور ہوں وگرنہ کسی کو آنکھ اٹھا کر بھی نہیں دیکھتا ۔۔۔

ایمانداری دوسرا نام ہے ۔۔۔
وفاداری میرے خون میں شامل ہے ۔۔۔
ڈاکٹر صاحب بوکھلاہٹ میں نان اسٹاپ بولے چلے چلے جا رہے تھے ۔۔۔
خاتون ( گھبراتے ہوئے ) ۔۔۔ نہیں ۔۔۔ نہیں ۔۔ ایسی بات نہیں ہے ۔۔۔
وہ دراصل باہر ریسپشن پر لڑکی بیٹھی ہوئی ہے ۔۔
اور میرے میاں بھی باہر ہیں. وہ نا تو آپکی طرح اسپیشلسٹ ہیں ۔۔۔ نا ہی شریف النفس اور نا ہی ایمانداری اور وفاداری انکا دوسرا نام ہے ۔۔
اس لئے انہیں اندر بلانا چاہتی ہوں ۔...

The Horse, the Donkey, and the Lion

One sunny afternoon, a horse and a donkey were walking together through the forest. As they passed an open meadow, the donkey looked up and said,
"Look, the sky is black today!"

The horse was surprised. "Black? Are you joking? The sky is clearly blue!"

But the donkey shook his head stubbornly. "No, it’s black, and I’m sure of it."

The horse tried to reason with him, but the donkey refused to change his mind. Both of them became so firm in their beliefs that neither would give in. Finally, they decided to take their disagreement to the King of the Jungle — the Lion — to settle the matter once and for all.

When they reached the Lion, they explained the entire situation. The donkey repeated, "Your Majesty, the sky is black." The horse insisted, "No, it is blue."

The Lion listened carefully. Then, to the horse’s shock, he declared,
"The donkey is right — the sky is black."

Overjoyed, the donkey began dancing and singing, "I was right! I was right!" He trotted away happily.

The confused horse stayed behind and asked the Lion,
"Your Majesty, you are wise, and you know the sky is blue. Why did you say the donkey was right?"

The Lion replied calmly,
"The sky is indeed blue. But when someone is too stubborn to accept the truth, it is foolish to waste your time arguing. Some minds are closed, and debating with them only takes away your peace. It is better to let them believe what they want and walk away."
