A Powerful Sunnah in Times of Fitnah ⚡️

In a world of uncertainties and trials, hold tight to this Ayah as a Dua and a shield for your heart:

After reciting Surah Al-Fatiha in the third Rakah of Maghrib, recite:

‎رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ

Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower. (Surah Al e Imran 3:8).

It is authentically reported that Abu Bakr (rta) used to recite this Ayah during the third Rakah of Maghrib in the time of apostasy, when many hearts turned away from the truth after the Prophet (sa) passed away.

Abu Abdillah As-Sanaabihi said: “I arrived in Madinah during the caliphate of Abu Bakr (rta). I prayed Maghrib behind him, and in the final Rakah, after he recited Surah Al-Fatiha, I heard him recite this Ayah.”

Ibn Ashour explained: “Abu Bakr recited it like a personal plea to Allah (swt) to save him from the type of deviation that swept the people after the Prophet’s (sa) death. It showed his deep insight and his fear of Fitnah.”

*This Dua is a lifeline in an age of chaos and a shield against confusion.*
