Imran Khan gains support after Pakistan's Supreme Court trashes his chief ministerial vote!

An explosion in Karachi University kills four and injures several others

A car explosion inside the University of Karachi's premises Tuesday killed four people and injured many others, Geo News reported, citing rescue sources.

Authorities suspect the explosion occurred near Confucius Institute.

A van near the Confucius Institute in Karachi University was blown up, according to initial reports. Immediately following the blast, security and rescue services arrived on the scene and cordoned off the area, initiating rescue operations.

A police source revealed that there were about seven to eight people in the van, despite the fact that the exact number of casualties is not known.

During first Pakistan visit, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar meets Prime Minister Shehbaz and President Alvi.

Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday welcomed Congresswoman Ilhan Omar to Pakistan on her first visit and underlined Pakistan's long-term relationship with the United States and commitment to deeper bilateral cooperation based on mutual respect, trust, and equality.
