BACKSTABBER โ€” betrays someone secretly.
Example: He acted friendly but turned out to be a backstabber.

LIAR โ€” doesnโ€™t tell the truth.
Example: Everyone stopped trusting the liar after he got caught.

CHEATER โ€” breaks rules to gain an advantage.

Contronyms (also called Janus words or auto-antonyms) are words that have two opposite meanings โ€” depending on the context.
In short, a contronym is its own opposite!
For example, โ€œdustโ€ can mean both to remove dust and to sprinkle dust.

1. Sanction โ€“ To officially allow or to punish for breaking a rule.
2. Bound โ€“ Heading toward a destination or restricted from moving.
3. Dust โ€“ To remove dirt or to cover with fine particles.
4. Screen โ€“ To display something (like a movie) or to hide it from sight.
5. Weather โ€“ To survive or endure or to be worn down over time.
6. Left โ€“ To go away or to remain behind.
7. Trim โ€“ To decorate or make neat or to cut off excess parts.
8. Seed โ€“ To plant seeds or to remove them from a fruit.
