✅ Accepted Proof of Funds (Canada Student Visa)
1. Bank Statements
Personal bank account (last 4–6 months)
Must show sufficient funds and transaction history
Should be from a recognized bank, ideally with official stamp/signature
2. Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC)
Purchased from a participating Canadian bank (e.g., Scotiabank, CIBC, BMO, ICICI Canada)
3. Education Loan from a Recognized Financial Institution
Loan approval/sanction letter required
Must clearly mention the amount, purpose, and disbursal terms
4. Proof of Paid Tuition and Housing
Receipts for full or partial tuition fee
Accommodation payment receipts (e.g., university residence)
5. Official Letter of Scholarship/Funding
For students receiving scholarships or bursaries
Issued by the school, government, or private organization
Should specify amount, duration, and what is covered
6. Proof of Financial Support from a Sponsor
Affidavit of Support (notarized)
Sponsor's bank statements (4–6 months)
Proof of relationship (birth certificate, passport, etc.)
Sponsor’s income proof (e.g., job letter, salary slips, tax returns)
7. Canadian Bank Account in Your Name
If you’ve already transferred funds to a Canadian account, provide:
Account statement
Account opening confirmation from a Canadian bank
