Pakistan ODI squad is gearing up for the upcoming series against West Indies with an intense training session at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Trinidad!

Under the watchful eyes of the coaching staff, the players have been putting in the hard work with net practice, focusing on their batting and bowling skills. The bowlers and batters have been working tirelessly to meet the coaches' targets.

The training session also included physical drills and fielding practice, ensuring the players are in top shape for the big matches ahead💪

PCB announces Women's Central Contracts for 2025-26!

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the Women's Central Contracts for the 2025-26 season, featuring 20 players across five categories. A 50% increase in player retainers has been implemented across all categories.

Sadia Iqbal, currently ranked as the top T20I bowler, has been awarded a Category 'A' contract. Other notable inclusions include Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, and new additions Natalia Parvaiz, Sidra Nawaz, and Waheeda Akhtar.

The PCB has introduced a new 'Emerging' category, featuring Eyman Fatima and Shawaal Zulfiqar, both part of the Ireland-bound Pakistan women's squad.

Pakistan Shaheens concluded their tour of England with a drawn three-day match against South Asian Cricket Academy & MCC Young Cricketers XI at the Spitfire Ground, Canterbury.

Resuming at 183/6, the hosts were bowled out for 278 with Feroze Khushi scoring a resilient 90*. Mubasir Khan led the bowling for Shaheens with 3 wickets, while Mehran Mumtaz and Musa Khan claimed two each.

In response, Shaheens lost Azan Awais early, but a solid 142-run stand between opener Shamyl Hussain (70) and Ali Zaryab set the tone. Zaryab brought up a stylish unbeaten century (100*) with 8 fours and a six before the Shaheens declared their second innings at 196/2.

🟢 Earlier in the match, Rohail Nazir had scored a brilliant unbeaten century (100*) in the first innings, helping Shaheens post 385/8 declared.

This match marks the end of a successful tour where Pakistan Shaheens won the ODI series vs Professional County Club Select XI 2-1

Rohail Nazir’s Unbeaten Century Puts Pakistan Shaheens in Command at Canterbury

Rohail Nazir continued his fine form with a superb unbeaten century as Pakistan Shaheens dominated Day 2 of their three-day match against South Asian Cricket Academy & MCC Young Cricketers XI at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury.

Resuming at 369/8, the Shaheens declared at 385/8, with Rohail bringing up his first century of the tour — a composed 100* off 120 balls, laced with 14 boundaries. He added an unbeaten 88-run stand for the ninth wicket with Maaz Sadaqat (39* off 48 balls).

In reply, the hosts reached 183/6 in 60 overs, still trailing by 202 runs. Mehran Mumtaz, Mubasir Khan, and Ubaid Shah claimed two wickets each to keep the pressure on.

Mohammad Siraj starred in a stunning come-from-behind win, taking a crucial 5/104 to script a memorable victory.

England needed 35 runs with 4 wickets left, but Siraj's swing and precision proved decisive. Despite Harry Brook and Joe Root's hundreds, India's bowlers held their nerve.
