Pakistan’s first AI-Generated short film, "The Last Tree for Survival", has been created to spotlight the harsh realities of climate change and deforestation. The film has a total duration of 1 minute and 15 seconds.

Over 80% of the project from concept and script to visuals was developed using . Motion design was completed with the help of an AI motion tool, while the final editing and clip stitching were done using advanced editing applications.

Set in a dystopian future where nature has completely collapsed, the film presents a powerful survival story. The Last Tree for Survival will be shared with the public shortly.

Ayaz Khan Delivers Insightful Guest Lecture on Broadcast Technology and Mobile Journalism at University of Karachi

April 17, 2025 — Ayaz Khan, Manager Broadcast IT at Express News, delivered an engaging guest lecture to the students of TV News Production at the Department of Mass Communication, University of Karachi.

During his visit to the department’s state-of-the-art TV lab, Khan provided students with an in-depth understanding of the operations of the Panel Control Room (PCR) and Master Control Room (MCR). He also drew from his extensive experience in Mobile Journalism (MoJo), sharing practical insights and tips to help students adapt to evolving newsroom technologies.

A major highlight of the session was Khan’s explanation of the science behind TV news rundowns—shedding light on how editorial workflows are managed in real-time broadcast environments.

Students who had completed their storyboards for upcoming shoots had the opportunity to discuss their ideas with him. Khan offered valuable feedback, helping refine their concepts and guiding them on best practices for ex*****on.

In addition, he touched upon the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in the media industry. He emphasized how AI tools are reshaping newsroom practices and discussed how students can effectively train and integrate AI assistants into their journalistic workflows.

The session was highly interactive and informative, leaving students with a deeper understanding of both traditional and emerging broadcast practices.

دل تھام لے پیارے : پاکستانی نوجوان نے شائقین کرکٹ کیلیے اے آئی سے ترانہ بنالیا
کراچی سے تعلق رکھنے والے ٹیکنالوجی سے آشنا نوجوان نے اے آئی کا نئی طرز پر استعمال کر کے نہ صرف دنیا کو حیران کیا بلکہ شائقین کرکٹ کو بھی خوش کردیا۔
اس نوجوان کا نام ایاز خان Ayaz Khan ہے جس نے پی ایس ایل 10 کے آغاز سے قبل شائقین کرکٹ کیلیے ایک نغمہ ’دل تھام لے پیارے‘ جاری کیا۔ واضح رہے کہ اس نغمے کا بلواسطہ پی ایس ایل سے تعلق نہیں جبکہ اس میں انٹرنیشنل کرکٹ ایونٹس دکھائے گئے ہیں۔
ایاز خان کے مطابق انہوں نے نغمے کے بول یعنی شاعری خود لکھی جس کے بعد اے آئی کی مدد سے اس کی آڈیو ریکارڈنگ کی اور میوزک تیار کروایا، نغمے میں نوجوان نے خود بھی اپنی آواز کا جادو جگایا ہے۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ میوزک کی تیاری کے بعد پھر ویڈیو بنانے کا مرحلہ آیا جس کو رات دن کی محنت کر کے تیار کیا گیا۔
نغمے میں قوم اور کرکٹ کے رشتے کے ساتھ کھلاڑیوں کی لگن اور جدوجہد کا بھی ذکر کیا گیا ہے جبکہ ویڈیو میں موجودہ اور سابق کھلاڑی شامل ہیں۔
اے آئی ٹیکنالوجی کیا ہے؟
گزشتہ چند سالوں سے ابھرتی ہوئی اے آئی ٹیکنالوجی جسے مصنوعی ذہانت بھی کہا جاتا ہے اُس نے دنیا کو حیران کردیا ہے۔ اس میں کمانڈ کے ذریعے ٹیکنالوجی سے ہر وہ کام کروایا جاسکتا ہے جسے کوئی انسان کمپیوٹر یا مشینری سسٹم پر انجام دیتا ہے
