Amir al-Qaddafi, a Libyan pilgrim, finally reached Saudi Arabia for Hajj under extraordinary circumstances, after his flight returned to the airport three times.
Miracles may not happen every day, but when they do, they remind us of a greater force at play. The journey of Amir al-Qaddafi from Libya serves as a striking example.
Amir had always dreamed of performing Hajj in Makkah. However, his journey was almost cut short when airport security refused to clear him—simply because his surname was “al-Qaddafi.” As a result, the flight departed without him.
Then, unexpectedly, the plane encountered technical issues and returned to the airport. Amir saw this as a second chance and tried to board again. However, despite the delay, the pilot declined to allow any new passengers and took off once the problem was resolved.

Finally, Amir was welcomed aboard, and the flight proceeded without any further issues. He arrived in Saudi Arabia and was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of performing Hajj. While some may chalk it up to coincidence, Amir—and many who heard his story—saw it as a clear miracle.
