The Embassy of Italy in Islamabad has warned Pakistani applicants against submitting forged or fraudulent documents for study visa application.

In a statement, the embassy said it has noticed an “unprecedented surge” in dubious and forged documents attached to the study visa applications.” The embassy particularly cautioned applicants against submitting fake documents particularly related to their means of subsistence, or proof of financial resources required for their stay in Italy.

It said applicants found submitting forged documents would face immediate rejection of their visa applications, while such violations could also negatively affect any future applications.

Mai Subhai, a Balochi language female folk singer belonging to the Bugti tribe was gunned down in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti.

She was considered among the first female singers from the Bugti tribe. Armed men riding motorcycles opened fire on the folk singer on the outskirts of Dera Bugti and sped away. She sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot.

The b0dy of a British-Irish mountaineer Alexander Mark Harris, who went missing over three days ago while trekking in Musa Da Mussala peak in Mansera’s Siran Valley, was recovered from the dense forests.

A search including police, rescue officials and members of the local community recovered the b0dy and brought it to a base camp set up during the search operation in Mandachucha.

Police said the b0dy was located at a gorge in the dense forest and the foreign mountaineer, who separated from his friend four days ago while descending the peak, apparently slipped amid dense fog and rainy weather.

Abhinandan Varthaman, the Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter pilot who was captured by Pakistan after his aircraft was shot down during an aerial fight in February 2019, has taken premature retirement from the and now started a new career as a commercial pilot with a private airline.

According to Indian media, Varthaman has joined a regional airline FLY91 based in Goa as a pilot since August. He shot to fame after his MiG 21 Bison aircraft was shot down by a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet during an aerial intrusion and later returned to India.
