آپ ﷺ کو بھیجا گیا ہے کرم کے لیے
سرورِ انبیاء ﷺ تاجدارِ حرم

ابوبکر صدیق رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا:

آپ مجھے کوئی ایسی دعا بتا دیجئیے جسے میں اپنی نماز میں مانگا کروں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”کہو:

(اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ)
”اے اللہ! میں نے اپنے آپ پر بڑا ظلم کیا ہے، جب کہ گناہوں کو تیرے سوا کوئی اور بخش نہیں سکتا، اس لیے تو مجھے اپنی عنایت خاص سے بخش دے، اور مجھ پر رحم فرما، تو ہی بخشنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے“۔
