I said yes to everything because I thought that’s what good friends did.
Every dinner. Every event. Every plan.
Then I stopped reaching out first.
The silence was louder than any answer.
That’s when I realized I was keeping some friendships alive all by myself.
Putting yourself first isn’t selfish. Sometimes it’s the only way to stop losing yourself.
