5 o’Clock Shadow Productions offers a range of media production skills, including but not limited to the production and execution of documentaries, music videos, corporate video, narrative films and television programming Rafay Mahmood, producer and writer for 5 o’Clock Shadow Productions, is also a seasoned entertainment journalist, covering film, music and theatre for the Express Tribune. He is
also a part time faculty member at the SZABIST Media Sciences Department and has taught classes on theatre, journalism and film at other institutes aswell. He has performed improve in both English and Urdu for stage, and is currently part of two improv troupes, working with Saad Haroon at The Agency and at Light On Hai! with Azfar Ali. Faraz Iqbal, cinematographer and photographer, is among the most promising cinematographers in Pakistan right now. In spite of his young age, he has worked on a large number of projects, both as a part of and outside of 5 o’Clock Shadow Productions. He shall be making his debut as feature film cinematographer with the soon to be released Seedlings. Faraz is also a faculty member at SAAMPT, teaching cinematography and lighting. Zeeshan Ahmad, director and writer, is the creative engine behind 5 o’Clock Shadow Productions which is also his sole focus currently. He has previously worked as a concept writer for Post Amazers and under various capacities at Manduck Productions. Syed Raza Arif,looks over the post-production department of 5 o’Clock Shadow Productions whereas his prowess with the camera also makes him our second unit camera man. Currently in his final year at the film and video programme of SZABIST,Arif is naturally talented and that is what makes him a part of the rare breed of upcoming improvisational comedians of Pakistan. His performance with Saad Haroon's The Agency was appreciated by the public and media alike.
