Pakistan’s exports to the European Union (EU) grew by 14% in the first five months of the fiscal year 2024-25, reaching $4.8 billion compared to $4.2 billion during the same time last year, according to official trade data.
In November 2024 alone, exports to EU countries increased by 16%, totaling $894 million, up from $769 million in November 2023. Major markets like Germany, France, and Belgium saw big improvements, with exports to Germany rising by 20%. Exports to the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy also went up.
At the same time, Pakistan’s exports to the US, UK, UAE, and Afghanistan also grew. However, exports to China dropped by 14%. Overall, exports to the EU performed better than most other regions, except Oceania.
