A lot of people have been asking lately…
Those of you who’ve seen me recently keep asking what I did to lose weight. And I know those who haven’t seen me yet will probably ask the same when we meet. 🙂
So I thought I’d just share it here.
Honestly, I haven’t done anything extreme.
For the last two months, I’ve completely cut out roti, bread, rice, sugar, bakery items, and oily food. I’ve focused on eating more protein and lots of vegetables instead.
I also started paying attention to my macros:
• Protein: ~122 g (35%)
• Carbs: ~119 g (35%)
• Fats: ~45 g (30%)
And just to be clear — this does not mean zero carbs.
I still get plenty of carbs from fruits, vegetables, yogurt, seeds, and other natural foods, so there’s no need to panic about cutting carbs completely.
Because of these small but consistent changes, I feel lighter, more active, and finally starting to feel in shape again.
A lot of people ask, “How long will you keep doing this?”
My answer: this is a lifestyle change, not a short-term diet. I plan to continue this long term, InshaAllah.
Now that you’ve read till here, here’s a bonus for you 👇
For Ramadan, I’ve made a simple ~500-calorie Sehri plan for myself, and I’ll be following it throughout the month. Sharing it here in case it helps you too:
SEHRI PLAN
• 3 full eggs
• ½ onion
• 1 tomato
• 1 carrot
• 1 cucumber
• 250 g plain yogurt
• 4 almonds
• 1 tsp desi ghee
• ½ tbsp chia seeds
• ½ tbsp flax seeds
• 1 black coffee
Good health isn’t just about looking good — it’s about feeling confident, energetic, and positive every day. When you’re healthy, you don’t feel lazy, and life just feels easier.
If this helps even one person, it’s worth sharing. 💪🌙
