Chinese company Dongjin Group plans to invest $15 million in a lithium battery manufacturing plant at Allama Iqbal Industrial City in Faisalabad.

Pakistan’s major private school associations have rejected the Punjab government’s decision to announce summer vacations from May 22 to August 23, calling the nearly 90-day closure damaging for education and student learning.

The associations said they would challenge the move in the Lahore High Court, arguing that such long breaks could increase dropout rates, reduce academic focus, and negatively affect the education system.
