🗞️ Imam al-Reza ع in reply to a question asked by Bazanti about the grave location of Lady Fatima al-Zehra س said: “She was buried in Her house and when the Umayyad expanded the Mosque, it was situated in the Mosque.”

🗞️ Imam al-Reza ع was asked: ‘Why did Imam Ali ع not take back Fadak after He took charge (Wali) of the people?’
Imam al-Reza ع replied: “Because, for Us the Ahlul Bayt ع, Allah is Our guardian, no one can take back Our rights from those who wronged/oppressed Us but Allah. And We are the Guardians of the believers, We judge for them and take back their rights from those who wronged/oppressed them, while We do not take back for Ourselves.”

🗞️ Hassan ibn Ali ibn Fadhdhal asked Imam al-Reza ع: ‘Why did the people distanced from Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ع while they knew His excellence and achievement as well as His relation to the Prophet ص?’ Imam al-Rezaع replied: “Because their fathers, forefathers, brothers, uncles, and Ali ع had killed their near of kin, who battled against Allah and His Apostle and they were many in number, so they were vindictive to Him and unwilling to be under His guardianship; but others did not do this in the holy wars (jihad), therefore the people distanced from Ali ع and inclined toward them.”

🗞️ ibn Abdullah asked Imam al-Reza ع: ‘Why didn’t Imam Ali ع fight with His enemies twenty five years after the Holy Prophet ص but He fought during His ruling days?’ Imam al-Reza ع replied: “He followed the example of the Holy Prophet ص Who did not fight with the unbelievers because for thirteen years in Mecca and nineteen years in Medina and the reason was lack of enough helpers; similarly, Imam Aliع gave up fighting with the enemy because His helpers were few.”
