Field Visit Update 🌾
Today, I had the opportunity to visit Deh Wali Muhammad Bhatti, Kumb Sector along with:
🔹 Deputy Cane Manager Mushtaq Hussain Khuhro Sahab
🔹 Sector Incharge Imamuddin Solangi Sahab
🔹 Cane Supervisor Muhammad Kamil Ujjan Sahab
We met with progressive grower Ghulam Jilani Tumrani Sahab and inspected his sugarcane crop. Different varieties such as CPF-237, CPF-253, and CSSG-676 were observed. The crop is in excellent condition with no borer attack or any other damage. 🌱
It is worth mentioning that Ghulam Jilani Tumrani Sahab is a dedicated grower who supplies his entire sugarcane produce to Khairpur Sugar Mills. We also suggested him to cultivate the new and approved sugarcane variety J16-639 for even better results in the future.

Cane Manager Mr. Kamaluddin Jumani Sahab, Deputy Cane Manager Mr. Parvez Ahmed Mahar Sahab, deputy Cane Manager Mr. Irshad Ali Samair Sahab and Cane Inspector syed Arshad Hussain Shah, we visited Syed Qasim Ali Shah’s Rizvi Sugarcane Farm at Sukkur, Saleh Patt. The varieties sown last year on our advice (CSSG-676, HS-12, CPF-253 & CP-77400) showed excellent growth 🌱. We also suggested trying some new varieties as demonstration plots.
Later, we visited Nara Agriculture Farm of Mr. Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, where we meet with Zubair Ahmed Sheikh Sb he is farm manager of Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah Sahab we observed a Chinese sugarcane variety and YTFG-236. The Chinese variety showed impressive performance in plant health, tillering, height & weight, though sugar recovery will be checked later.
Chinese Variety Details:
Plant spacing: 3 ft × 8 ft | Fertilizer: DAP 4, SOP 4, Urea 8 bags/acre | Plus weedicides & insecticides applied.

Deputy Cane manager Mr. Irshad Ali Simair Sahab A field visit was conducted to sukkur zone Sector Pano Akil and Sangi Cantonment Area to meet progressive sugarcane growers including Mr. Muharam Ali Khaldi (110 acres), Mr. Bashir Ahmed Brohi (30 acres), Mr. Shafiq Ahmed Wagho (35 acres), Mr. Haydar Ali Wagho and Mr. Haji Ubedullah Wagho (35 acres). The main sugarcane varieties under cultivation are J-16-639, CSSG-676, CPF-253 and NSG-59. Overall, the crop condition was found to be healthy with good plant stand and low pest incidence. The growers expressed their commitment to supply sugarcane to Khairpur Sugar Mill in the upcoming season and raised issues such as input costs, irrigation scheduling, timely lifting of cane and heavy motorway challans being imposed on loaded vehicles transporting sugarcane.

Visit to Jhanda Shakh and kumber sector
Today, Deputy Cane Manager Mr. Parvez Ahmed Mahar, and Deputy Cane Manager Mushtaq Hussain Khuhro Sahab along with the Sector Incharge Jhanda shakh Mr. Basheer Ahmed Chandio. They met with esteemed growers, including:

1. Mr. Shafi Mohd Chandio, Assistant Advocate General, Sindh High Court, and General Secretary of PPP Sukkur Division.
2. Rias Noor Khan Chandio
3. Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Chandio
4. Mr. Ubed Ullah Chandio
5. Mr. Sared Ahmed Chandio

First of all they checked sugarcane varieties such as CPF-246, CSSG-676, CPF-253 Cp_77400 all the varieties growth going very well, and also crop condition is better.
After that Deputy Cane Manager Parvez Ahmed Mahar advise them for the new autumn sowing plantation grow approved varieties and if you have NSG-59 so please discard it,

Inspection and Meeting
During the visit, the team inspected various sugarcane fields, checking on different approved varieties such as CPF-246, CP-77400, and CPF-253.

Field Conditions
The team observed standing water in some fields due to recent rainfall, which may impact crop growth. However, the growers were taking necessary measures to mitigate the effects and ensure a healthy harvest.

Today, the Head of Cane, Mian Nasiruddin Ahmed Farooki Sahib, along with Deputy Cane Manager, Javed Ahmed Farooqui Sahib, visited Sector Jadowahan. During the visit, they checked the Attendance Register and Movement Book in the presence of Cane Inspector Khalid Hussain and Cane Supervisor Wazir Ahmed Markand.

In addition, the Head of Cane Sahib also visited the sectors Jadowahan, Agra, and Razidero Kachoo. The crop condition was found to be excellent with no signs of disease.
