“پاکستان میں استاد صرف پڑھاتا کیوں ہے، لکھتا کیوں نہیں؟”
ہم ایک عجب قوم ہیں-علم کو پڑھاتے ہیں، مگر محفوظ نہیں کرتے۔ہمارے استاد نسلیں بدل دیتے ہیں، مگر خود تاریخ میں گم ہو جاتے ہیں۔کبھی سوچا ہے؟
پاکستان میں لاکھوں اساتذہ ہیں،مگر کتابیں گنتی کی کیوں ہیں؟استاد کا کردار صرف کلاس روم تک کیوں محدود ہے؟ زیادہ تر اساتذہ پوری زندگی لیکچر، کورس فائلیں، اور مارکنگ میں گزار دیتے ہیں۔ لیکن جب ان سے پوچھا جائے: “آپ نے کوئی کتاب لکھی؟ کوئی تحقیق یا تجربہ تحریر کیا؟” تو جواب ملتا ہے:
“وقت نہیں ملتا”
“کون پڑھے گا”
“پبلشنگ مشکل ہے”
اصل بات یہ ہے وقت کبھی نہیں ملتا- بنایا جاتا ہے۔ اور جو علم صرف زبانی رہے، وہ وقت کے ساتھ مٹ جاتا ہے۔ کتاب لکھنے کے فائدے صرف شہرت کے نہیں، شعور کے ہیں:
1️⃣ آپ کا تجربہ آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے محفوظ ہو جاتا ہے۔
2️⃣ آپ اپنی سوچ کو منظم کرنا سیکھتے ہیں۔
3️⃣ معاشرہ صرف آپ سے نہیں، آپ کے علم سے بھی فائدہ اٹھاتا ہے۔
4️⃣ آپ “استاد” سے “مصنف” بن جاتے ہیں — یعنی خیالات کے خالق۔
جب آپ نہیں لکھتے تو کیا ہوتا ہے؟ آپ کے تجربات مر جاتے ہیں۔ آپ کے خیالات کے ساتھ ایک قیمتی خزانہ دفن ہو جاتا ہے۔اور نئی نسل ہر چیز ازسرِنو دریافت کرنے میں عمر گزار دیتی ہے۔ ہم نے “استاد” کو نوکری سمجھ لیا ہے،
حالانکہ استاد کا اصل کام کاپی چیک کرنا نہیں، قوم کی سوچ چیک کرنا ہے۔اب وقت ہے کہ استاد دوبارہ لکھنے لگے۔
کلاس روم کی دیواروں سے نکل کر اپنی بات کتاب میں قید کرے۔ تجربہ، تحقیق، سبق، مشاہدہ — سب کچھ قلم کے ذریعے زندہ رکھے۔ قومیں وہ نہیں ہوتیں جو صرف پڑھتی ہیں،قومیں وہ بنتی ہیں جو لکھتی ہیں۔ سوچنے کے لیے چھوڑتا ہوں:اگر ابنِ خلدون، امام غزالی، یا سر سید احمد خان نے صرف پڑھایا ہوتا-تو آج ہم کیا پڑھتے؟
اگر آپ استاد ہیں- پڑھانا آپ کا فرض ہے، مگر لکھنا آپ کا اثر ہے۔اپنا اثر چھوڑیں۔
