We are pleased to announce that the Journal of Social & Health Sciences (JSHS) has been officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, as per the updated HEC Journals and Publication Policy 2024, amended with effect from November 5, 2025, under Notification No. 15-54/Coord/2019/R&ID/HEC/876.

This recognition follows the journal’s successful inclusion in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)—a milestone that reflects the journal’s commitment to open access, peer-reviewed publishing, and scholarly integrity.

JSHS is an official journal of the Academy for the Advancement of Science, Education & Research published by Logixs Journals, with academic leadership from Prof. Dr. Shakila Zaman (Editor-in-Chief) and Dr. Tariq Muhammad (Patron).

The Pakistan Journal of Pediatric Dermatology (PJPD) is a peer-reviewed, Gold Open Access journal published by Logixs Journals in collaboration with Pediatric Dermatology Associates.

PJPD is dedicated to advancing academic research and clinical practice in pediatric dermatology. The journal publishes original research, reviews, case reports, pictorial essays, and scholarly commentary focused on dermatological health in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. Its scope includes clinical pediatric dermatology, genodermatoses, dermato-oncology, diagnostic innovations, therapeutic developments, and psychosocial and public health aspects of childhood skin conditions.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Saira Niazi, Assistant Professor of Dermatology, to the Niazi Journal of Medical & Dental Sciences (NJMDS) as Assistant Editor.

Dr. Niazi is a seasoned dermatologist with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience. She earned her MBBS from King Edward Medical University Lahore and completed her Fellowship in Dermatology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, with her clinical training at Lahore General Hospital.

Currently serving at Niazi Medical and Dental College, Dr. Niazi brings a unique blend of hands-on patient care and academic instruction. Her areas of focus include general dermatology, cosmetic procedures, and medical education. She has contributed to postgraduate training, clinical research initiatives, and institutional development, and continues to engage in professional courses in Botox and fillers, research methodology, and Basic Life Support.

As Assistant Editor, Dr. Saira Niazi supports NJMDS’s mission to promote peer-reviewed clinical research and academic excellence in dermatology and allied disciplines.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Nadeem Yaqoob, MBBS, CHPE, M.Phil. (Pharmacology) has joined the Niazi Journal of Medical & Dental Sciences (NJMDS) as Editorial Assistant.

Dr. Yaqoob is a distinguished pharmacologist and academic with over 15 years of experience in teaching and research. Currently serving as Professor of Pharmacology at Niazi Medical & Dental College, Sargodha, he holds an M.Phil. in Pharmacology from the Post Graduate Medical Institute, Lahore, along with a Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE).

His research centers on natural products such as Nigella sativa and Bryophyllum pinnatum, and their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects. He has also contributed to the understanding of acid suppression therapy and metabolic disorders including hepatic steatosis and hypertension. With numerous publications in reputed journals, Dr. Yaqoob is known for his commitment to evidence-based pharmacological research and education.

As Editorial Assistant at NJMDS, he brings valuable expertise in pharmacology and therapeutics to support the journal’s editorial and peer-review processes. NJMDS is published under Logixs Journals, a multidisciplinary platform advancing health sciences research.
