Cinema gave me a seat at the table today.

The camera has taken me to many places, but some moments make you pause and look back at the road you’ve traveled.

Honored to serve as a Documentary Judge at UCP Media Fest 2026 UCP Media Fest and grateful for the recognition from the organisers. It was inspiring to witness young filmmakers bringing their ideas, emotions, and perspectives to the screen.

From chasing stories to celebrating storytellers.
Grateful for the journey 🖤☘️

I knew this sunset hours before it happened.

I just witnessed a beautiful sunset on the outskirts of Nankana Sahib. This morning, while passing a sunflower field along the roadside, I immediately thought, this would be the perfect place at sunset. We continued with our shoot, even skipped a few shots, just so we could make it back in time.

Despite the heat, the exhaustion, and the frustration that comes with a long summer day, we rushed back anyway. And when we did, the sky put on a spectacle far beyond what I had imagined.

Sometimes, the best photographs aren’t planned. They’re simply moments you feel coming. 🌻🌅

📍Nankana Sahib, PUNJAB

PS: Sometimes all it takes is a quick glance from a moving vehicle to know exactly where you’ll be standing when the sun goes down.

once in a BLUE MOON ⏾

They call it “once in a blue moon” for a reason. A rare visitor, a quiet reminder that the most extraordinary things don’t ask for attention; they just appear, and leave us in awe 🌙

PS: despite its name, a Blue Moon isn’t actually blue. The term refers to the rare occasion when two full moons occur within the same calendar month, with the second one being called a Blue Moon. This happens only once every 2–3 years, which is why the phrase “once in a blue moon” became synonymous with something rare and special. 🌕

even silence feels familiar back home🌻

Eid Mubarak to everyone 💌

Eid in Pattoki just feels different to me. The same streets, the same lights, the same moon; but now every corner holds a memory of who I used to be.
Maybe nostalgia really is another form of prayer; quietly missing the people, the moments, and the innocence I once carried through these Eid rituals.
So I decided to step out with my camera and hold these moments forever.
Hopefully you can find some feel in these pictures.

At the heart of Gurdwara Janam Asthan lies one of the most sacred places in Sikh history; the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and a spiritual voice whose message of peace, equality, and humanity continues to inspire millions across the world.

For centuries, pilgrims have traveled to this sacred land to connect with the beginnings of a message that challenged division and reminded humanity that all people are equal in the eyes of the Creator.

Located in Nankana Sahib, this Gurdwara is not only a place of worship — it is a symbol of spiritual history, coexistence, and heritage deeply rooted in the soil of Pakistan. Every wall, prayer, and pathway here carries the echo of a timeless legacy.

With this episode, we begin a journey to document and present the rich Sikh heritage of Pakistan with authenticity, respect, and cinematic storytelling — bringing these sacred places closer to the world in a way rarely seen before.

KASUR: not lost, just undiscovered

Beyond the familiar, the Walled City of Kasur reveals a layered heritage; where ancient streets lead to forgotten stories, and every structure carries a past waiting to be rediscovered.

From historic gurdwaras that echo faith and devotion, to the silent beauty of a Jain Mandir, to centuries-old buildings standing as witnesses of time; Kasur holds a heritage far richer than what meets the eye.

This is not just a city, it is an experience of history, culture, and identity.

A place often overlooked, yet deeply worth exploring.

Kasur is calling.
It’s time to see it, feel it, and rediscover it.

A cinematic journey into the soul of Kasur — in collaboration with Saad Zahid.
