Introduction:
South Asia stands at a critical juncture where the promise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) intersects with the persistent challenge of educational inequality. Despite strides in expanding access, millions of learners across the region remain marginalized due to socio-economic divides, gender barriers, linguistic diversity, and inadequate digital infrastructure. AI offers unprecedented opportunities to reshape educational landscapes through adaptive learning, inclusive pedagogy, digital governance, and teacher empowerment.
However, the benefits of AI will only be realized if these technologies are deployed inclusively, ethically, and equitably.
This conference provides a platform for scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and EdTech innovators to deliberate on how South Asia can harness AI to bridge the digital divide and achieve the vision of inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all.
Major Objective:
The objective of this conference is to critically engage with the role of AI in transforming education systems across South Asia, with a focus on ensuring equity, inclusivity, and cultural relevance. By showcasing innovations, sharing regional and global best practices, and generating actionable policy insights, the conference seeks to produce a South Asia Roadmap (2025–2035) for AI-driven educational transformation aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
