Planners Beyond Borders has launched an awareness campaign focused on the Air Quality Index (AQI) and controlling SMOG. This initiative aims to educate the public about air quality and its impact on health and the environment.
Key points for this awareness drive include
1. Explain what the AQI is and how it's calculated, categorizing air quality from "good" to "hazardous" based on various pollutants.
2. Encouraging actions to reduce smog, such as driving less, maintaining vehicles, and fueling up during cooler hours.
3. Avoiding products with high VOC emissions, and using electric yard equipment.

Such campaigns would be vital in regions facing significant air pollution concerns, as they empower individuals and communities to make informed choices for a healthier environment.
