گزشتہ دنوں لاہور کے بزنس سینٹر ایکسپو میں ایک عظیم الشان،تاریخی اور شاندار 5 روزہ کتاب میلے کا انعقاد کیا گیاجو کہ یقینی طور پر ایک احسن اقدام ہے۔مجھے اس میلے میں 8 فروری کو شرکت کرنے کا موقع ملا، جب ایکسپو سینٹر پہنچا تو گاڑیوں کی ایک وسیع پارکنگ دیکھنے کو ملی، دیکھ کو خوشی ہوئی کہ نا صرف لاہور بلکہ دیگر شہروں سے بھی لوگ شرکت کے لئے آئے تھے۔اس حوالے سے روزنامہ نوائے وقت میں شائع ہونے والا مضمون نیچے دیئے گے لنک پر کلک کرکے پڑھ سکتے ہیں ۔

کرپشن پرسیپشن انڈیکس 2024 میں 180 ممالک کی درجہ بندی میں پاکستان کا 135واں نمبر ہے جو گزشتہ برس 133 واں نمبر تھا۔ پاکستان دنیا کا 46 واں کرپٹ ترین ملک بن گیا جبکہ گزشتہ برس 48 واں ملک تھا۔ بھارت 96 ویں نمبر پر، ترکیہ107 ویں، بنگلا دیش 151ویں اور افغانستان 165 ویں نمبر پر ہے دنیا بھر میں تارکین وطن کی سمگلنگ کا مالی حجم 5.5 تا 7 ارب امریکی ڈالر سالانہ ہے جو مالدیپ یا مونٹی نیگرو کی مجموعی قومی پیداوار مجموعی جی ڈی پی کے مساوی ہے۔2022 سے 2023 تک سمگلروں نے 223,000 تارکین وطن کو بحیرہ روم کے پار منتقل کیا جو کہ شمالی افریقہ سے اٹلی تک پھیلا سمگلنگ کا ایک سب سے بڑا اور خطرناک ترین راستہ ہے۔
