Maqbool Academy was established in 1954, by Malik Maqbool Ahmed rising from a humble start to the present respectable status, it is a fruit of the determination and perseverance of one man and the generations to come after him. The journey started with the publishing of a magazine called "Choudhwin Sadi" (meaning 14th Century) con

sequently today some of the most inspiring children's storybooks are being published by Maqbool Academy's brain child 'Maqbool Books'. The company has published books authored by some of the most acclaimed writers, which include some genuine masterpieces like "Azadi-e-hind" by Maulana Abu-al-Kalam Azad and our presidential award winning "Armaghan-e-Hijaz" by none other than the national poet of Pakistan, Allama Iqbal. Under the auspicious guidance of Malik Maqbool Ahmed and his son Dr. Arshed Maqbool, the organization is growing gradually but steadily. Today, the company's retail department is expressed by three branches across the city of Lahore operating under the name Maqbool Books, one of the most respectable names in publishing, import and export of books in Pakistan.
