In a landmark moment, the grand premiere of The Legend of Maula Jatt was held on May 19, 2026, at a multiplex in Beijing. The event was presided over by His Excellency Khalil Hashmi, Ambassador of
Pakistan to China.

The Huaxia multiplex was beautifully transformed with immersive posters and artwork
from the film, creating a vibrant cinematic atmosphere.
The premiere was presided by Pak Ambassador to China & attended by Bilal Lashari, Distributor Nadeem Mandviwalla and officials of the Chinese State Film Authority attended this event.
In a historic first for Pakistani cinema, the film has received permission to be released in
China on a quota revenue basis.
The Legend of Maula Jatt is expected to launch across 1,000 screens nationwide on May 21, 2026.
