🌍 Expanding International Engagement in Islamic Finance
AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking & Economics was honored to facilitate and host an official delegation from the National Bank of Ethiopia and FSD Ethiopia in Malaysia from 15–19 December 2025, as part of a strategic international exposure initiative.

On 19 December 2025, senior delegation members Mr. Frezer Ayalew Mohammed (Director, Banking Supervision) and Mr. Belay Tulu Tadesse (Director, Insurance Supervision), alongside Mr. Muhammad Zubair, CEO of AlHuda CIBE, engaged in a productive discussion with Mr. Makhtar Abdullah, CEO of (Association of Shariah Advisors In Islamic Finance - ASAS).

As part of its continued efforts to foster international collaboration in Islamic finance, AlHuda CIBE, the consultants, facilitated a high-level engagement between delegates from the National Bank of Ethiopia, FSD Ethiopia, and the leadership of Maybank Islamic Berhad in Malaysia on 18 December 2025.
