Mukesh Ambani, not only India's but Asia's richest man, is worth $116 billion and according to Forbes magazine, he is the 10th richest person in the world. He is having his son's wedding ceremony in Gujarat, India.

Reportedly, he is spending $100 million on his son's wedding, out of which $10 million is being paid to the famous American singer Rihanna, who will be performing at the wedding. He has invited all of Bollywood, Elon Musk of Tesla, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, and Bill Gates as his main guests.

Some may say that it is a lot of money to spend on a wedding, but considering Ambani's net worth, it's only less than 0.1% of his total wealth.

Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, or Bill Gates are not there for the wedding, but they recognize the potential of India's 1.5 billion population as a growing market for their products. Singer Rihanna is not there to perform for $10 million, but imagine how many albums she would sell in the future in India.

The whole world sees India's gigantic potential, while Pakistan, sitting next to India, sees India as their number one enemy. We are missing a huge economic opportunity.

That extra five-plus hours nobody likes to talk about are precisely why we have leap years.
