Pineapple Magazine

Pineapple Magazine Pineapple is a youth magazine based in Pakistan. Click About for details or visit www.pineapplethema

Pineapple is perhaps one of the only fruits that are not grown in Pakistan. Therein lies the crux of our objectives: to present views and ideas that you don’t usually come across, especially in this country. In the same spirit of doing something unconventional for the greater good, The Other Side, an integral part of our magazine, publishes content that makes our readers pause for a moment and pro

vokes a constructive thought process in them. The purpose is to introduce the youth of our country to both sides of the picture, so they can reevaluate their notions and transform their preconceived impressions. However, we also have more reasons to choose Pineapple as our name. Unlike most magazines, we don’t want our audience to be limited to a theme, we want our magazine to be all-in-one in terms of content, something that distinguishes us from most of the other magazines. For this reason, our name, by having no relation to any particular kind of content, gives us the space to include anything which is of meaning to our readers. Other characteristic aspects of our magazine include interviewing people who are inspirational yet not our everyday celebrities, presenting infotainment reviews in a way that makes them standout with those found on the internet and providing our readers with the necessary dose of everyday information through sections like Webtionary. To sum up: enlightenment, entertainment and engagement – Pineapple combines all three.

MARKETING, SALES & PROMOTION

The marketing members do not only have to look for sponsors, but have to actually get them. This requires good communication skills and perhaps a car to hit the streets and meet the people behind the desks. Our marketing members also help us in the distribution and sales of our copies.

P.S: A strong reference that ensures a sponsorship may give you an edge.

Interested people email their name, contact number and past experience (if any) at [email protected].

Hello everyone,

We have started work on our Summer 2013 issue. However, we are making some major changes to our team, as some of our old members will be leaving us to pursue their university life abroad.

So unlike our previous issues, this time around we will be selecting people for some of the vacant posts in the Core Team. These range from co-editor, content manager, marketing members, head designer and some other.

For the summer issue, the old members and tentative new members will be working together and this will consequently decide the final members we will be recruiting for future issues.

We will be posting details about how to apply on this page, with separate posts for every position. Keep checking and good luck!

Some clips from the success party of our first issue. Don't know why we didn't upload them before.
